Tips for Exhibitors:

  • Show will start at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 20, 2019
  • No stallions allowed on the fairgrounds
  • We reserve the right to alter/combine classes at the judge’s discretion
  • Coggins is NOT required
  • Insurance is required. Proof of insurance must be presented to show secretary before exhibitors will be allowed to compete. Proof can be included with entries or shown day of the show.
  • All riders under the age of 18 are required to wear helmets
  • Walk/trot riders may not enter any class that requires a canter/lope
  • Leadline riders may not enter any class that requires a trot/jog
  • Entries can be emailed or called in directly to show chairperson.
  • $10 entrance fee per exhibitor – paid on the day of the show.
  • Prize money will not be paid at ringside day of show.
  • No coaching will be tolerated from the rails.

PROOF OF INSURANCE WILL BE REQUIRED OF EACH EXHIBITOR PRIOR TO SHOWING

2020 Membership fee of $10 will be deducted from 2019 winnings

PRIZE MONEY FOR SECTIONS 1 to 27:

1st $15; 2nd $12; 3rd $10; 4th $8; 5th $6; 6th $5

Ribbons to 6th place in all sections

  1. Conformation – Open to all ponies with any age handler
  2. Conformation – Open to all horses with any age handler
  3. Junior Showmanship – Pattern class, handlers 13 & under
  4. Senior Showmanship – Pattern class, handlers 14 & older
  5. Leadline Equitation – Open to all ages of riders who require a leader. Walk only
  6. Leadline Game – Game to be determined day of show. Walking only with leader
  7. Walk/Trot Equitation – Open to all riders not capable of a canter/lope. Eastern or Western
  8. Junior English Pleasure – Riders 13 & under
  9. Senior English Pleasure – Riders 14 & older
  10. Junior English Equitation – Pattern class, riders 13 & under
  11. Senior English Equitation – Pattern class, riders 14 & older
  12. Junior Command Class – Riders not capable of a canter/lope. English or Western
  13. Open Command Class – All ages able to canter/lope. English or Western
  14. Open Paris Class – All ages, walk/trot/jog only. English or Western
  15. Junior Western Pleasure – Riders 13 & under
  16. Senior Western Pleasure – Riders 14 & older
  17. Junior Western Horsemanship – Pattern class, riders 13 & under
  18. Senior Western Horsemanship – Pattern class, riders 14 & older
  19. Junior Sit-A-Buck – Riders not capable of a canter/lope. Bareback class. Bring your loonie to judge and winner takes all
  20. Open Sit-A-Buck – All ages capable of a canter/lope. Bareback class. Bring our loonie to judge and winner takes all
  21. Open Costume Class – Open to all ages
  22. Junior Apple Dunk – Riders not capable of a canter/lope
  23. Open Apple Dunk – Riders capable of a canter/lope

Award for High Point Horse and High Point Pony will be awarded at the end of the show.

Point System

1st – 7x # of entries in class                  4th – 3x # of entries in class

2nd – 5x # of entries in class  5th – 2x # of entries in class

3rd – 4x # of entries in class                  6th – 1x # of entries in class
